Pikeperch larviculture ( Sander lucioperca [L., 1758]) with Brachionus plicatilis (Mueller, 1786) (Rotifera) and Apocyclops panamensis (Marsh, 1913) (Copepoda)

چکیده
The effect of live feed diets containing Brachionus plicatilis (B) and Apocyclops panamensis (A) was investigated on pikeperch larval survival, growth, fatty acid composition in two experiments (E1 E2). Up to six different were provided the larvae, which letters diet names represent organisms as mentioned above subsequent number per larva day. In E1, start cultures with 35 larvae/L supplied (B200 B100 + A100) 7 days until 10 post hatch (dph). E2, 50 fed diets, B280 A120, B340 A60, B400, B420 A180, B510 A90, B600. highest survival specific growth rates (SGR) occurred B200 (E1). A60 performed best. A trend increasing found E1 from 68.9% (B100 71.6% E2 64.0% (B280 A120) 93.7% (B340 A60). Larval SGR tended increase higher shares dietary B. both experiments. polyunsaturated acid, linoleic (LA), followed same pattern a plateau reached, indirectly indicating feeding threshold. LA seemed play an important role this period. Consequently, should contain at least 340 ind. larva−1 day−1 6.3 milliliter dph improve larviculture.

Principles of pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) larviculture
Pikeperch (Sander lucioperca) is a species with high nutritional, ecological and commercial values which is endemic in Iran, but its natural stocks are endangered during recent years. Therefore, Iranian Fisheries Organization as the main responsible organization for preservation of aquatic natural stocks of the country planned to stock rehabilitation of this species since 1989. This program had...

The aerobic bacterial flora in the gut of turbot larvae and their influence on larval survival was examined. Two turbot experiments were run with six replicates each time. Large variation, from 0% up to 44%, was observed in the survival percentage of turbot larvae. There was no correlation between the number of bacteria present in the gut of turbot larvae and the larval survival rate. During bo...

During the years 2004-2006 the parasitological autopsies of three species of fish: roach Rutilus rutilus (L.), bream Abramis brama (L.) and perch Perca fluviatilis L. from three lakes situated in warmińsko-mazurskie voivodeship were done. The aim of this study was comparable analysis of Metazoan parasite communities which occur in roach, bream and perch in three lakes of river Łyna watershed. T...

The aim of this note is to record the occurrence of the copepod Cyclopoida Thermocyclops tenuis in the Pantanal region, Central West of Brazil. The sampling was carried out in September, 2008, in a small artificial pond with an area of 22 m and 0.5 m deep, located in the city of Corumbá, MS, at 19° 00” 02’ S and 57° 37” 50’ W. The material was concentrated in a plankton net with 68 μm mesh size...
